We are the Cyber Gnomes! But who exatly is that? Well, that's what you came here to find out, isn't it?

We are the F.I.R.S.T. Robotics team of Stayner Collegiate Institute. If you don't know what F.I.R.S.T. is, I'm honestly unsure what you're doing here, but you should definately check it out under the links page.

We were the only F.I.R.S.T. team in Simcoe County for several years, but we are pleased to announce that this 2011 season we are being joined by another team reigning from Nantyr Shores secondary school.

We are currently comprised of 14 students, two staff advisors and two industry mentors! We're a small team but consistantly preform as well as teams from schools more than twice our size.

We've won several awards in the past including the Rookie Inspiration Award, multiple Imagery Awards, a Regional Finalist Award and a Motorola Quality Award.

We are active in our community and each year we make an effort to exhibit our robot at several of the elementary schools in our area to promote F.I.R.S.T. and our team.
